Message	Didn't mention running the Codes for your Auto. But, the resetting of the TCU by turning it off and back on is classic for worn or damaged seals.. the whinnging noise can come from the resistor that controls the pressure . Resistor is in the pass side inner fender..Just means your pump is being driven to higher pressures. Best, advice is get ready for a re-build.
